AC Milan have ousted PSV Eindhoven in the race for Alphadjo Cissè, having reached a total agreement with Hellas Verona for a transfer.
Cissè is an attacking midfielder that Milan have been keeping tabs on for a very long time. In fact, the first rumours date back to February 2024, and the management were clearly called into action yesterday as PSV neared an agreement for the 19-year-old.
Now, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, a total agreement has been reached between Milan and Hellas Verona for a transfer. It comes less than 24 hours after the Rossoneri announced another Cissè, namely El Hadj Malick, who has joined the Futuro side.
Summer move secured
As stated by the journalist, since Cissè is currently on loan at the Serie B side Catanzaro, Milan have agreed to leave him there until the summer. We will have to wait a little bit to see him in the red and black colours, as such, but it was easier to get the deal done this way.

It’s believed that PSV had agreed to pay €8m for the Italian, so you would imagine that Milan will have to pay the same amount. An official statement will likely not arrive before the end of the transfer window, but rather in the summer when the move will actually take place.
