This morning, AC Milan’s entire front line could take a new shape. A new striker will arrive, whilst discussions have begun for another.
In the final days of the mercato, everything can change; that is a well-known fact at this point. However, the level of change at Milan seems borderline panicky at this stage, with several irons in the fire.
Nevertheless, shortly after Santiago Gimenez’s agent stated that he would not leave the Rossoneri, there is a chance that it may now happen.
Dovbyk for Gimenez?
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the club have begun talks with Roma regarding a move for Artem Dovbyk, who was a target for the Diavolo last summer, whilst his name has also been mentioned this year.

The theory, though, is that Milan would swap the former Feyenoord striker for the Ukrainian, given they are both similar in terms of financials. In January, it cost around €35 million, including bonuses, to bring the Mexican, whilst the Giallorossi paid around €30m last summer.
Neither really hit the ground running since moving to Italy, but the Roma man may be more of the mould that Massimiliano Allegri would like, whilst Gimenez has reportedly not been his ideal since he arrived.
