AC Milan will now turn to focusing on the signing of a striker, having completed the midfield with Ardon Jashari’s arrival.
In case you missed the big news over the last 24 hours, a deal has finally been agreed between Milan and Club Brugge worth €39m with add-ons included. He landed in Italy on Tuesday night for a Wednesday medical.
With the midfield jigsaw complete, and with Zachary Athekame looking set to join from Young Boys to fill the right-back role, there is just the centre-forward position for the directors to work on, net of any sales.
From Hojlund to Nunez
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Igli Tare and co. are now turning their attentions to which striker will arrive to fill the No.9 spot (and shirt).
Rasmus Hojlund is still on the Rossoneri’s wish list, especially if Manchester United decide to open up a loan formula, with an option to buy.

Darwin Núñez is a name they really like too, but following the contacts of the last few days it seems a move to Al-Hilal is on the cards. The Saudi club are pushing hard and, therefore, a significant investment would be needed to acquire him.
Other profiles on the list include Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus and Breel Embolo of Monaco. Either way, after completing the midfield, Milan want to focus on the attack.
