AC Milan are in talks with Spezia over a possible loan deal for youth sector talent Christian Comotto, according to a report.
Gianluca Di Marzio report that Spezia are keen on signing Comotto, who is coming off a stellar season with Milan’s Primavera side. Negotiations between the Ligurian club and the Rossoneri are already well underway.
Before his possible new adventure in Serie B, however, Comotto will leave with Milan for the pre-season tour at the request of Massimiliano Allegri himself, who was particularly impressed by the teenager’s talent from his first training sessions.
Upon his return to Italy from the tour, Milan’s plan for him is a dry loan to Spezia. A bonus scheme should also be in place for his development, based on appearances or any goals and assists, like what will happen with Francesco Camarda.

The next step
The 17-year-old feels ready for the big step up to Serie B after a season with the Primavera. He will likely do so at a big club like Spezia too, led by manager Stefano Melissano, who has already demonstrated his ability to work well with young players such as Pio Esposito.
Two years ago we picked out Comotto as one of the talents in the academy to look out for in an analysis piece. In addition, the midfielder has admitted that he idolises Sandro Tonali, who he has been compared to.
