There have been questions about AC Milan’s mercato antics for a while now, and this week, another has arisen regarding the choice to pursue one player.

In January, Milan were rather quiet. It was not a shock; the budget was not there for excessive spending, and there was no point adding names for the sake of it. However, it could have been much different had various transfers worked out.

Now, we could be discussing Jean-Philippe Mateta and the arrival of Federico Gatti, or another linked defender. However, no action was really taken where the first team is involved. That list of potential options has today grown, though.

Guidi claims Milan made Enciso move

“On the penultimate day of the transfer window, I can tell you for certain, AC Milan called Brighton about the loan of Enciso. Don’t ask me why; he’s a trequartista who’s hard to slot into Allegri’s plan. I don’t see him as a second striker.
