There are a few targets in the midfield for AC Milan, and today, one has been offered a new deal by his current club.
With Ardon Jashari’s move looking difficult, there have been a few other options considered whilst Milan wait to find out what is happening. One of them has been Javi Guerra, but the Rossoneri have not been alone.
In fact, there has been heavy interest from across Europe. However, no one has taken him from Spain yet. Perhaps, that could be the way it stays this summer, with the midfielder considering things.
Guerra’s crossroads
The reasoning for this situation is because Valencia have come forward with a new contract offer for the midfielder, as El Chiringuito (via MilanNews) report. Before, it was a thought, but now they have taken the action, placing the offer on the table.
Should he sign the new offer, he would be penning a deal until 2029 with a ‘significant salary increase’ which has left him ‘at a crossroads’. As a result, he will weigh up his options before accepting or rejecting anything.
With the new deal, he would be ‘more difficult’ to approach him, let alone consider a purchase. Tt could be another mercato loss, if Milan are not careful.
