One of the defenders linked to AC Milan in recent days can be crossed off the list, at least if his entourage is to be believed.
It has been widely reported that the head coach Allegri wants a centre-back to arrive to raise the level of the defence and bolster the depth. The goal is to find a reliable option who knows the league, therefore capable of making an impact right away.
One of the names that has been mentioned a lot in recent weeks is Diego Coppola of Brighton. He was a target for the Rossoneri before he left Hellas Verona for the south of England, but he is now on the move again having barely played.
However, it seems the former Italian is on his way to Paris FC, as confirmed by Matteo Moretto. The French club are set to beat the competition from Serie A, and it seems that Coppola’s entourage also know this as they spoke to MilanPress.
Speaking to the source, one of Coppola’s representatives was rather clear about the links: “I can assure you that Coppola will not go to Milan, there are other solutions.” The other solution, it seems, is a move to the French capital.
