Enzo Maresca press conference LIVE: Chelsea boss on Palmer injury, Brighton test, Sanchez return

Hello and welcome to football.london for live coverage of Enzo Maresca’s pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s home clash with Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues head coach will preview his side’s next fixture from 11am (UK time) today. It is expected to be another busy presser for Maresca, with Cole Palmer’s injury set to be right at the top of the agenda. Palmer limped off just 20 minutes into Chelsea’s defeat at Manchester United last weekend and did not travel with the squad for the win away at Lincoln City earlier in the week.

In this fixture last season - which is almost a year to the day - Palmer scored all four goals, with all of them coming in the first-half. Chelsea met Brighton on two more occasions later on in the season and were beaten in both away games in the FA Cup and Premier League.
