Chelsea's Brazilian boys were in action in the early hours of Friday morning as Selecao cruised to a 3-0 victory over Chile in a World Cup qualifier.
Estevao Willian and Joao Pedro were picked from the start, while Andrey Santos was a 66th-minute substitute for the hosts. It was Estevao who got Brazil on their way in Rio de Janeiro, with the Chelsea winger scoring a close-range bicycle kick after Raphinha's initial shot was saved, but not dealt with properly, by the goalkeeper.
The 18-year-old has started the season so well for the Blues that his form for Brazil will not come as a surprise to those back in west London. A constant threat, Estevao almost doubled his side's advantage moments later but his right-footed effort went over the crossbar.
Joao Pedro, who has also been in sparkling form for Chelsea, handed Brazil a bit of a concern early in the game with the 23-year-old clashing with his own teammate Gabriel Martinelli. The Blues forward went to the floor and proceeded to vomit on the pitch after a heavy collision with Martinelli, but he was fine to play on after.
Estevao made it to 66 minutes before being taken off for Luiz Henrique, with Santos coming on in the same batch of substitutes for Casemiro. Five minutes later, Joao Pedro made way for Kaio Jorge, shortly after Lucas Paqueta had doubled Brazil's lead. Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle United put the icing on the cake for Carlo Ancelotti's men.
Ancelotti will be delighted with Estevao's contribution for Brazil - three months after predicting the teenager will become a crucial player for the national side. Back at the beginning of June, Ancelotti, who was appointed Selecao manager just a month before, said: "Estevao, I already knew about.

"I hadn't seen him in person, only through videos and on TV, but I see what everyone sees: that he is a player with extraordinary, special talent, very young, and who still has things to learn. Estevao is a talented player, humble, has drive and personality.
"He has immense creativity, a ton of qualities. Obviously, he has all the characteristics to be a very important player for the future of the national team."
Elsewhere, Marc Cucurella was on the scoresheet for Spain as they beat Bulgaria by three goals to nil in a World Cup qualifier. Mikel Oyarzabal got the Spaniards on their way just five minutes in before goals from Cucurella and Arsenal midfielder Mikel Merino later in the first-half secured the victory for the 2010 champions.
