Federico Chiesa has previously admitted he would be open to returning to Juventus after starting just seven of his 32 appearances since joining Liverpoo in August 2024

Federico Chiesa has already expressed his willingness to consider a return to Juventus. The forward parted ways with the Serie A heavyweights after being deemed surplus to requirements in the summer of 2024, subsequently joining Liverpool.
The Italian international has found himself playing a supporting role at Anfield, having initially grappled with fitness issues following his move to England. Despite becoming a firm favourite among fans, Chiesa has only started seven out of his 32 appearances for the club over the past year and a half.
With 19 appearances in the Premier League, Chiesa made only his second start in the English top-flight during last weekend's 2-1 triumph over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chiesa was substituted at the 60-minute mark as Arne Slot brought on Conor Bradley, with Jeremie Frimpong moving up to the right-wing position. As a result, the Italian remains low in the pecking order under the Dutch manager.
The 28-year-old was strongly linked with a move back to Italy both last January and in the summer, but ultimately remained at Anfield.
However, with the January transfer window poised to open later this week, rumors are swirling once again about a potential Liverpool departure. Reports from Italy suggest that Juventus are considering a loan offer to bring Chiesa back to Turin.
The forward has repeatedly expressed his intention to stay and prove his worth at Anfield. Yet, he also hinted at a possible return to Italy last summer, admitting he would be open to rejoining Juventus if the opportunity presented itself.
"Never say never," he told Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, "I still love the club and the fans."

In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, he confessed that he had wanted to remain at Juventus but felt compelled to leave after a conversation with new manager Thiago Motta.
"Motta was clear with me: I don't need you, find a team," he remembered saying. "I told him I was ready to fight, to put myself to the test because I wanted to stay and show that I was still useful to Juventus. But there was nothing I could do. It's okay, it was his choice."
After signing for Liverpool in August 2024, Chiesa took to social media to clarify his Juventus departure in an emotional post.
"It's time to end this journey with you, black and white fans," Chiesa penned on Instagram. "I would like to dedicate a few words to thank you for the great affection you have always shown me, affection that I will always carry in my heart.
"I have grown with you and with Juventus, both as a man and as a football player. You have supported me in good times and in difficult times, and for this I will always be grateful to you.

"Over the past four years I have had the opportunity to work with players, staff and coaches of the highest level.
"You have been like a family to me and, even in the most complicated moments, you have helped me get back up. I will always carry with me the joyful memories that we shared.
"Now, while saying goodbye, I would like to clarify the issue of the renewal. I have never received any offer of renewal from Juventus and, consequently, there has never been a request from me or my entourage regarding an increase or a reduction in my salary.
"I was informed that I would not be part of the project even before the start of training with the team.
"I thank you once again for your constant support. Thank you, Juventus. Until the end."
