It is the season of giving, and AC Milan hosted an event which allowed players from various teams to show their appreciation.

The Milan men’s and women’s teams met today at San Siro for the traditional Youth Sector Christmas Party, a time of meeting, playing, and sharing that brought the entire Rossoneri family together. The young players participated in a multi-stage journey full of surprises inside the stadium.

Giving of gifts

The first stage, under the aegis of the Milan Foundation, saw the presence of four special ‘helpers’ – Mike Maignan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Monica Renzotti and Nadin Sorelli.

They collected toys for the Children’s Hospitals of Milan, the result of donations made during the Christmas period by players to the Puma House of Football – Centro P. Vismara and the Milan Futuro team.

The second stage, packed with adrenaline and fun, involved all the teams competing on a record-breaking foosball table, complete with 11 cues. On one side, Leão and Kyvag’s team, on the other, Modrić and Park’s.

In the third stage, the young Rossoneri players were able to enter the Milan dressing room, where they were presented with scarves, before experiencing the excitement of the San Siro tunnel, where all the players from the men’s and women’s first teams were waiting for them with high fives.

Speeches and celebrations

The second part of the event, presented by the ever-present Germano Lanzoni, aka Gegio, and journalist Romina Minadeo, featured speeches from club officials.

After a welcome address from CEO Giorgio Furlani, the Head of the Men’s Youth Sector Vincenzo Vergine, the Head of Milan Futuro Jovan Kirovski, and the Head of the Women’s Youth Sector Gianfranco Parma spoke.

They emphasised the formative, educational, and identity-building value of the Rossoneri youth program, as well as the Milan Futuro Project, whose primary objective is the development of young talent.

In the final part of the evening, the coaches of the first teams – Massimiliano Allegri and Suzanne Bakker – took the stage, along with the players Matteo Gabbia, Davide Bartesaghi, Alexis Saelemaekers, Angelica Soffia, Chante’ Dompig, and Giorgia Arrigoni.

All participants answered questions from the young players from the Youth Sector, creating a moment filled with curiosity, smiles, and anecdotes, which further strengthened the sense of belonging to the Rossoneri family.
