The blue and red sides of Milan will drop the gloves again on Sunday night, contesting the first derby of the season.
There have been a total of 228 Milan derbies, with 74 wins for Milan, 85 for Inter and 69 draws. The Nerazzurri had dominated the fixture in recent years, but then things took a turn in a crazy 2024-25 season.
After ending a six-game losing run in the derby, the Rossoneri won three of five games against Inter last season. Matteo Gabbia’s header secured a late win in the first league game, while the Supercoppa Italiana final yielded a 3-2 comeback victory and in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg it was a comprehensive 3-0 scoreline.
