‘Focus on the next’ – Balentien reacts humbly after first goal for Milan

AC Milan signed Cheveyo Balentien this summer after heavy interest from elsewhere. However, he can now light a path for the Rossoneri.

There has been a lot said about Balentien and his summer. He signed on August 21, and then was called up for the Lecce game just a week and a bit later. It was not just a call-up, though, as he played minutes on the San Siro pitch too.

A first for Balentien

Despite this, he will still progress with the Milan Futuro project for now, and he could have aided the Rossoneri with his first goal yesterday. However, much to Massimo Oddo’s dissatisfaction, the game ended in a draw.

With this, Balentien posted a message on his Instagram after the game, celebrating his goal, but remaining focused on the task at hand. Another sign of his strong mentality, and why Massimiliano Allegri is keeping him in his sights.
