There is a determination and desire to do better than last year at AC Milan. This is from the players, staff and the fans. After all, everyone is aware that last year was not good enough.
It starts at Milanello, where Massimiliano Allegri brought forward the Raduno, and in turn, the start of pre-season. He wants intensity and readiness from his team, and it is the earliest that Milan have started a season in a while.
Of course, there is no Champions League football to contend with either, so this is not a case of preparing for the heavy weeks. Instead, it is preparing to be the best version of the Rossoneri possible.
A positive start
One of the brighter points of last season was the addition of Youssouf Fofana ino the midfield. The Frenchman was consistently a part of the team, and his performances offered a bit of regularity. Yesteday, at the return, he looked at last season, whilst looking to the future, as MilanNews relays from Milan TV.
How did it go?
“This first day was a bit tough: the first to wake up the body but it’s good to start and for the future. It’s good to work like this to be ready for the start of the season.”

Will you give it your all on the pitch like last year?
“I will give the same this year too.”
What awaits us?
“We also want to have a great season: last year there was the feeling that we could do something but then we drew or lost. This season we want to be consistent.”
