Milan Futuro returned to winning ways on Sunday afternoon as they got the better of Folgore Caratese in a five-goal thriller.

The Futuro suffered another frustrating defeat in their last game, their third consecutive loss and second of the season, losing 2-1 against Breno. The pressure was on for Massimo Oddo’s side to bounce back, and they did just that.

The first 45 minutes were filled with drama. Folgore Caratese broke the deadlock in the 12th minute as Tremolada converted the penalty awarded for holding by Caldirola in the penalty area. The Rossoneri equalised quickly as captain Dutu headed in a corner to make it 1-1.

The Futuro turned the tables in the 27th minute with Maximilian Ibrahimovic. The ball was recovered after a rebound and passed to Ibra, who fired a right-footed shot that was deflected by the defence and in.

Then, in the 36th minute the home team equalised through Gjonaj. The striker shrugged off a defender with a feint and put the ball under the crossbar with his left foot.

The second half began without any changes, but Oddo made the first moves, which proved decisive, in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Branca scored the 2-3 goal after an attacking transition that involved Sia and Domnitei. That would prove to be the winning goal, securing three massive points.
