Yacine Adli has almost agreed personal terms with Al Shabab and is expected to complete a move there in the coming days.
Since the start of the summer, when Fiorentina decided not to use their option to buy, Milan have been looking for a new club for Adli. They have run into some difficulties though, with no sign of any advanced negotiations.
That is, however, until yesterday. News broke from France stating that Adli was closing in on a move to Al Shabab in the Saudi Pro League, and now an update has arrived from the same source.
The details
As Valentin Feuillette from Footmercato reports, a total agreement has nearly been reached for Adli to join Al Shabab. It will be a three-year contract, and he will earn €7m net per year which is more than triple what he currently gets.
There are ‘a few details to settle with the player’ before everything can be considered closed. However, the Saudi market closes on September 11 so there is enough time to iron out the final creases.
There has been talk that a Turkish and a Greek team are keeping tabs on the situation, ready to make a move, but it seems there will be no opening for them to do so.
