FootMercato: Milan considering another Belgian League coup – the attacking idea

2 months ago 74

AC Milan are not done yet this summer, and another player could arrive from Belgium, where there has been interest this summer.

Since the arrival of Igli Tare, there has been a lot of interest in the Belgian league, and it makes sense considering his previous experience. Of note, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic arrived from Genk and joined the Albanian at Lazio.

In other words, he clearly has the eye for the standout talents in the division.

Interest in Belgium

Maxim De Cuyper was an unsuccessful pursuit this summer, and Ardon Jashari could have followed. However, Milan have made one coup already from the Belgian Pro League, and it may not be their last of the year.

As FootMercato reports, via MilanPress, the Rossoneri are also making considerations about Mario Stroeykens, a 20-year-old midfielder who plays for Anderlecht. Last season, he scored five goals and recorded seven assists in 39 games, and he could present an opportunity.

Allegri Tare

The Belgian’s contract expires next summer, and with a mercato value of around €10 million, he could be brought to Italy for much cheaper. So, considering the situation, he could be sold this summer if the right offer were to arrive.

Extra coverage at the top of the midfield would not be a bad thing at all.
