Some information about the new AC Milan emerged earlier this month, and now, another update has been provided.
In the past few years, Puma have been more experimental with their designs for the Milan home shirt. However, it seems that next season’s home shirt will be made with a more ‘traditional’ design in mind, according to Footy Headlines.
Per their report, with only three kits made in the traditional Rossoneri design, there is a desire to return to this idea, rather than making another experimental twist to the strip.
Late 90s style
Now, another update on the kit has arrived, which makes it possible to visualise the idea, perhaps.
As Footy Headlines reports, the kit will feature ‘wide, classic stripes’ which take inspiration from the late designs from the 1990s, particularly the Adidas kit from the 1998-99 season – when the club won the Scudetto.
Weah and Ronaldo in 1999White details will be used the detailing, whilst the kit, of course, will have the Rossoneri stripes. Of course, we have seen white detailing in the past two seasons – with the collar and sleeves last season, and with the badge itself this year.
This year’s home kit was only released a few months ago, so to have this information for a new kit already is certainly interesting, and excitement is already building.
