Footy Headlines: Wide stripes like 1998-99 – mock-up of Milan’s 2026-27 home shirt emerges

Further details have emerged about how AC Milan’s home shirt for the 2026-27 season should look, and this time we have a full leak.

In a feature a couple of weeks ago we provided a round-up of all the things we know about Milan’s three shirts for next season, at least based on the various reports that have surfaced from the usual sources.

Mock-up emerges

According to Footy Headlines, the Milan 2026-27 home kit – which will again be made by PUMA – features a return to the traditional wide striped design, reminiscent of the 1998-99 Adidas shirt.

The kit includes a black collar and sleeve cuffs with a red stripe, while the PUMA logo and sponsor are in white to contrast with the black and red stripes.

The stripes are also broader, and again this is a nod to the team that won the Scudetto in the late 1990s with players like George Weah and Oliver Bierhoff in their pomp.

Since taking over as the Rossoneri’s kit provider, PUMA have released only three home shirts with ‘traditional striping’, which were back in 2018-19 and 2019-20, then again in 2022-23.

Aside from that they have experimented with thinner stripes, some broken stripes and ones with patterns inside, so this would be a more ‘classic’ look.
