Arsenal could have as many as four players on the sidelines for their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest. The Gunners will be looking to return to winning ways after their defeat to Liverpool in their last match before September's international break.
Mikel Arteta's squad have amassed six points from their first three matches of the season and will be looking get another three on the board with a victory against Forest in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.
Arsenal will have some injury concerns to deal with for the clash against Forest, though. Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are all set to miss the fixture in north London this weekend with their respective injury concerns.
There is also uncertainty around William Saliba's fitness going into the clash against Forest. The defender suffered an ankle injury in the defeat to Liverpool, but Arteta confirmed, during his Friday press conference, that Saliba has returned to training. However, he would not say if a return against Forest is on the cards.
"William [Saliba] trained today, so we have a decision to make," Arteta told reporters.
Ben White is expected to be available after missing the last two matches through injury. Christian Norgaard could also be in line to return to the matchday squad for the first time in the Premier League this season.
