Füllkrug laughs at gold tooth suggestion to celebrate potential Scudetto with Milan

Niclas Füllkrug was asked if he would consider a gold tooth implant if AC Milan were to win the Scudetto this season, but he shut that idea down immediately.

Füllkrug arrived at the club just before the new year, starting training with his new teammates at Milanello, but he was only announced last week when the window officially opened. So far, he has made two appearances for the team, coming off the bench against Cagliari and Genoa.

The first indications have been rather positive as Milan have been missing a striker with his characteristics, even if the German is still waiting for his first goal. The Rossoneri are hoping that it will come soon, as that would help them a lot in the Scudetto pursuit.

Yesterday, the presentation press conference for Füllkrug was held at Casa Milan. Carlo Pellegatti was the last journalist to ask a question and in his usual fashion, it was a rather odd one. Indeed, the journalist asked about a gold tooth implant.

Would you consider having a gold tooth implanted if Milan were to win the second star this season?

“No, no (laughs). It’s part of me. Some have big noses, some have other physical features. I’m missing a tooth, but I’m in no way vain and that gap will remain regardless of how the season ends,” he stated.

It remains to be seen when the German will make his first start for the club, expected to be on the bench against Fiorentina as well, but the feeling is that it isn’t too far away.
