Fullkrug’s agent admits change from West Ham ‘makes sense’ amid Milan links

AC Milan were linked with a move to Niclas Fullkrug in the summer of 2024, but the German moved to West Ham. 

There was a lot of talk about Fullkrug in the 2024 summer mercato, and it seemed like he could make a move to Milan after a decent season with Dortmund and a solid European Championship performance.

However, it was not to be the case, as he headed to England instead. Though, this may have been a good thing for the Rossoneri.

Since his move to West Ham, the German has scored just three times in 25 Premier League games, and whilst the Hammers have been poor, his own performances have not helped.

Regretting the move

With a move likely, there have been a few suggestions about the Rossoneri taking a look at the striker. However, at 32 years old, it probably would not make any sense. His agent, Thorsten Wirth, has spoken on the topic of an exit from West Ham recently, via MilanNews.

“Looking back, we have to say that the transfer did not work out. There is no point in sugarcoating the pill. Goodbye? This always has to happen in collaboration with the club. But let’s put it this way: I think it might make sense to make a change.”
