In recent years, there has been a lot said about the pricing of away tickets in Serie A, and now AC Milan are looking to discuss it.
In other European leagues, fans can enjoy price caps on tickets, but no such plan exists in Italy. It is a regularly discussed issue, with the Curva Sud most recently making their feelings known earlier this month.
For the away game against Torino, the group called out the €45 price and even berated Milan for their lack of involvement in the situation. However, there is an effort being made by the Rossoneri to make away pricing fair.
The state of pricing
The matter was brought up at the latest Lega Serie A meeting, where Giorgio Furlani represented the club. Ezio Simonelli, who also commented on the matter of the game against Como next year, spoke first about the situation, via Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I don’t think there’s much consensus, but it was decided to establish a commission that will submit a proposal and then vote on it.”
Furlani then also supported this notion.
“We are delighted that Lega Serie A has decided to further explore our proposal, establishing a dedicated committee within which we will continue to push to quickly achieve a concrete result.”
