AC Milan will play their first league match of the new year on Friday night, taking on Cagliari away from home.

Milan ended 2025 in the best possible way with a resounding 3-0 home triumph over Hellas Verona on December 28. However, that is quite literally last year’s news, and now a new test awaits against a Cagliari side that have been a tough opponent recently, including in the two draws last year.
