AC Milan dropped points for the second straight game against a relegation-battling team, this time drawing with Fiorentina on Sunday.

The eventual 1-1 draw at the Franchi is one that doesn’t do a lot of good for either side. Fiorentina continue to look up at Genoa, who are two points clear of the relegation zone and play Cagliari tonight. Milan remain three points behind Inter, who drew with Napoli last night.

Today’s front pages

This morning’s newspapers focus on the big 2-2 draw at San Siro, but three of them pass comment on the game in Florence too.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Crazy Milan. They are saved again, Allegri attacks. Nkunku responds to Fiorentina in the 90th minute. Max: ‘Too many mistakes, we need to be ruthless’.”

Corriere dello Sport: “La Viola scare Milan. In the 90th minute, Nkunku levels after Comuzzo’s goal. Brescianini hits the crossbar (1-1).”

QS: “Nkunku saves a lacklustre Milan. But again Allegri didn’t win.”
