AC Milan face yet another test of their mettle early in the season as they make the trip to face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

Milan have started the season with four wins in five games and currently sit atop the table heading into tonight’s big game. Juventus are just one point behind, though they have dropped points in their last two league games.

It is a renewal of one of the fiercest rivalries in Italian football, and there are many sub-plots too as Massimiliano Allegri, Adrien Rabiot and Koni De Winter all return to face their old clubs.

Today’s front pages

Below are how the front pages look this morning, and all of them mention the game in Turin this evening.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Enough to make your head spin. It’s back to a Scudetto-worthy Juve-Milan. Allegri, the big ex, is at the Stadium (20:45).”

Corriere dello Sport: “The night of the geniuses. Tudor exclaims: ‘A draw isn’t enough for me. The flaws? I’d focus instead on our performances’. Allegri against against his past: ‘Eight years will have their effect. Our goal remains the Champions League’.”

Tuttosport: “Allegri: ‘My years in Turin? I’m just saying thank you, no rematch.’ Tudor exalts his friend Modric, then jokes: ‘I hope he does sh**.’ The Leao case.”

QS: “Juve need to bounce back, Milan launched. A classy match at the Stadium.”
