August is just a few days away and things are ramping on the mercato. As highlighted by the newspapers this morning, AC Milan are eyeing two pretty big moves, one of which involves Ardon Jashari.
The Jashari saga continues to be rather tiring, but at least it seems Milan are now willing to increase their offer. As we reported already last night, the Rossoneri were stuck at €32.5m plus bonuses but in the coming hours, a fixed base of €35m with fewer bonuses should be tabled.
Meanwhile, the No.9 position is another priority for Milan this summer. Given the price tags of most strikers, the Rossoneri have waited to analyse all opportunities on the market, and an opening for Juve’s Dusan Vlahovic could emerge.
In short, there could be some big movement in the next week or two, with Igli Tare looking to provide Max Allegri with as many players as possible before the season starts.
