AC Milan are already active on the transfer front, and all of the newspapers in Italy make reference to the business being done.

The first player through the door to bolster Massimiliano Allegri’s squad is Niclas Füllkrug. He will arrive on loan and yesterday morning it was revealed that the buy clause in his contract is only worth €5m, making him a very affordable option if he does well in these six months.

However, he is not the only front that Milan are working on, with Andrej Kostic also expected to arrive from Partizan Belgrade, as well as a striker too.

Today’s front pages

Each of the four major sports newspapers in Italy gives a mention to Milan, given they are perhaps the most active team.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Leao: No holidays. Rafa’s return. He’s working overtime to lead Milan. Füllkrug takes the No.9.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Milan, Füllkrug at Max’s school. First training session today.”

Tuttosport: “Milan: Kostic to sign Vlahovic. The 18-year-old from Partizan (on the way) has the same agent as Dusan, a June target.”

QS: “Milan, presents for Allegri. Füllkrug is here, Origi leaves, the club are working on the transfer market.”
