Gallery: ‘Lookman-Leao at full speed’, ‘Max pushes Milan’ – Today’s front pages in Italy

AC Milan have a rare midweek league game to contend with on Tuesday night, and it will be a tough test against Atalanta.

Milan will feel the duty to bounce back having been held to a 2-2 draw by bottom-placed side Pisa on Friday night. However, it will not be easy given their recent record against Atalanta, who are unbeaten this season albeit having drawn six of eight.

There are still some injury issues for Massimiliano Allegri to contend with as well, as star duo Adrien Rabiot and Christian Pulisic remain out. Nevertheless, the challenge is on to keep pace with Napoli and Roma at the top, plus city rivals Inter.

Today’s front pages

The newspapers in Italy this morning are dominated by the news of Juventus sacking Igor Tudor, but Milan get some space on the front pages.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Lookman-Leao at full speed. At 20:45, Milan will play in Bergamo against Atalanta.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Allegri: ‘Leao can get 25 goals’. In Bergamo, Rafa is the leader. Max pushes Milan: ‘The Portuguese has enormous potential. Nkunku is growing: I expect a lot’.”

Tuttosport: “Leao on fire. Allegri pushes: ‘He can score 20 goals’. Tonight in Bergamo.”

QS: “Atalanta-Milan, Allegri calls for Leao’s goals: ‘He can score 20’.”
