Atalanta and AC Milan played out a 1-1 draw at the New Balance Arena on Tuesday night, with both sides perhaps feeling a bit of regret.
For the second game in a row Milan took an early lead with a shot from distance that came after a corner, but for the second game in a row they failed to turn it into three points.
Samuele Ricci was the one who got the opener last night – his first goal for the club since signing in the summer – but in truth Ademola Lookman’s equaliser was no more that Atalanta deserved.

The game would finish all square at 1-1, and below is how the Italian newspapers have reacted.
La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Milan slow down. Ricci isn’t enough, Lookman scores again: Atalanta draw for the seventh time.”
Corriere dello Sport: “Lookman holds Milan back: Allegri three points off the top. The difference between Luka and Leao.”
Tuttosport: “Napoli go three points ahead. Milan wasteful. Conte wins at Lecce, Allegri draws 1-1. Lookman scores Atalanta’s equaliser.”
QS: “Lookman is there, Leao a ghost. Atalanta 1-1 Milan: Allegri subs off Rafa, La Dea respond to Ricci.”
