AC Milan’s Coppa Italia run came to an end at the round of 16 as they were beaten 1-0 by Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night.
Ultimately Lazio managed to get revenge for their defeat in the league at San Siro a few days prior, with Mattia Zaccagni getting the only goal 10 minutes from the end. It means that Milan’s cup drought will tick on past 23 years, with 2002-03 being the last time they won it.
