Luka Modric has impressed massively at the start of this season, not just with AC Milan but also the national team. As highlighted by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, he has already played a lot.
When Modric signed his contract with Milan, many expected the veteran to be used wisely on the pitch: once a week thanks to the Rossoneri’s schedule, and potentially not full games either. However, the 40-year-old has played a lot already, showcasing great physique.
Today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport highlighted Modric’s incredible start to the season, with ten games now played at the age of 40. All of these games have been very good ones too, which makes it all even more impressive.
The pink newspaper also provided some quick injury updates. Christian Pulisic appears to be fine despite the ankle concern, but Pervis Estupinan and Alexis Saelemaekers could both miss the game against Fiorentina.
