It has been one month since AC Milan last played a home league game, but they are back under the San Siro lights tonight to face Como.

Milan made it consecutive away wins on Friday night against Pisa, but they were forced to fight right until the final whistle in an eventual 2-1 victory. Inter then beat Juventus on Saturday in a controversial encounter, so the Rossoneri must beat Como to restore the five-point gap.

Today’s front pages

Below is how the Italian newspapers look this morning, and while there is a strong focus on Juventus’ failure in Turkey, there are some mentions of a big night at the Meazza.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Milan are chasing. The Scudetto dream is on the line. Allegri: ‘No distractions’. San Siro at 20:45, the game in hand against Como.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Allegri: ‘Mistakes are forbidden’. At 20:45 Milan-Como, objective -5.”

Tuttosport: “Rescheduled game against Como. ‘The poisons distract Milan, so let’s focus only on ourselves’. Allegri deflects the controversy between Inter and Juventus: ‘I want a team with blinkers on’.”

QS: “Milan-Como at San Siro. Leao is a doubt for Allegri.”
