AC Milan came away with the win from their game against Pisa last night, largely thanks to Luka Modric, and the newspapers made sure to highlight him this morning.
It looked like the Rossoneri were heading for more points dropped against a bottom-half side, following an equaliser by Pisa in the second half. However, with just minutes to spare, Modric stepped up and found the winner.
His class is undeniable and rightfully so, he was heavily praised by the newspaper this morning. The win also means that Milan are now just five points behind Inter again, and the Nerazzurri will be up against Juventus in the Derby d’Italia tonight. In short, things are heating up at the top.
