AC Milan bagged an important win last night, beating Liverpool 4-2 and boosting their confidence at the same time. As highlighted by the papers, the work of Max Allegri is starting to show.
With a relatively solid defence and three counter-attacking goals, Allegri did what he does best with the tactics against Liverpool. Of course, the individual performances of the likes of Rafael Leao and Noah Okafor certainly helped, with the former named the MOTM.
As pointed out on the front pages of the newspapers this morning, Milan are starting to look more and more like an Allegri team. For the Serie A opponents, that is a scary development, especially if the manager can get Leao to perform at his best.
