Juventus and AC Milan can not be accused of putting on a classic on Sunday night as they drew 0-0 at the Allianz Stadium.

Mike Maignan made a brilliant save to deny Federico Gatti early in the second half before Christian Pulisic missed the target with a penalty awarded for a foul on Santiago Gimenez. Rafael Leao also failed to take a couple of late chances, and thus a point each would have to do.

Below are how the Italian newspapers look this morning, and it is no surprise that they focus on the stalemate in Turin.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Those who make mistakes. Milan threw away three points, and Juve are grateful. Pulisic shoots a penalty over, Leao wasteful, and Allegri criticises him. David and Gatti also made mistakes, but Tudor is happy with the draw.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Tudor thanks Pulisic. Juventus booed: 5 draws in 8 games. Milan have many regrets: Leao also missed the winning goal.”

Tuttosport: “Is that all? Juve-Milan was a flop. It ended amid boos, but Pulisic (penalty missed) and Leao twice spared Tudor.”

QS: “Juve and Milan: only regrets. It’s 0-0, the stadium applauds Allegri: Pulisic misses a penalty.”
