Liam Rosenior's Chelsea side lost four matches in a row in the lead up to the international break and that saw some Blues supporters turn against the head coach
Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Jamie Carragher are all in agreement over the pressure on Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior.
The 41-year-old was appointed as Enzo Maresca's successor almost two months ago, signing a six-and-a-half year contract at Stamford Bridge and despite a promising start, four defeats on the bounce has seen some supporters turn against the former Strasbourg boss. Chelsea, football.london understands, have no plans to sack Rosenior and are expected to back him even if the Blues fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.
Despite this, the Overlap panel, which includes Carragher, Neville, Wright and Keane, feel things have become more difficult in recent weeks for the Chelsea head coach, with an air of negativity now at Stamford Bridge.

"Liam is obviously a good, young coach, we had Wayne Rooney on here, who has worked with him, and he said he's a fantastic coach," Neville said on the Overlap. "He's obviously someone who has won quite a lot of matches at Chelsea, but it's just started to turn - it's not just turned in terms of results but it's turned in terms of the personal things that have started to be thrown towards him."
Wright added: "That's the thing. Only results can change that for him, but the Chelsea fans I speak to, they're already so negative. They've lost their last four but at the same time, we're talking about a young manager who is trying to get himself going."
Keane interrupted: "But you're never going to get time at Chelsea, are you? Any young manager who goes to Chelsea - even with experienced managers, they've done it with better managers than him - they're going to get rid of you, that's the club."
Wright continued: "He's won a few so you thought, 'can he get them on side', but he's now lost a few, now it feels like a pile-on. It feels really bullyish."
Carragher then offered his thoughts: "It's a job he can't turn down, for obvious reasons, when would he get that chance again? But if you're a Chelsea fan, you think he's just over-promoted. He's gone from Strasbourg to one of the biggest clubs in Europe, who have won the Champions League twice in however many years."
Keane asked: "But why can't he turn it down, Jamie? If you speak to him, like we spoke to Ange [Postecoglou] and [Sean] Dyche, these people going into Nottingham Forest, you know you're only going to be in there for a few months. I think some managers have to be braver."
Carragher continued: "He's seen as a yes-man for the ownership, isn't he? The supporters are going to have no respect for you straight away, if you're seen as a yes-man. They don't like the ownership, they chant about the ownership every single game. He's just seen as their yes-man, their guy. From the supporters' point of view, I always think there's something different about Chelsea than most clubs.
"They're really aggressive, and I mean that in the nicest possible sense, they want to get a Champions League-winning manager. Even if he doesn't, move on, get the next one. This generation of Chelsea supporters, they're used to winning; this idea that it's a five-year plan and we'll then go and win something, that's Tottenham, that's maybe Arsenal under Arteta, it's not Chelsea.
"Chelsea could go from finishing sixth to winning the league the next year. We used to think it was a bit harsh what they were doing to their managers, but I actually used to admire it - it was so ruthless. Everyone knew if you didn't win the league, or go close to winning the league, you're gone and they would get the next fella in.
"And what Chelsea had an ability to do; even when they weren't winning leagues, they'd win cups. They just kept collecting trophies. Chelsea's record in a good few years, I think it's about 10 years since they last won a domestic cup. Chelsea were always winning them, or they were always in the final.
"This idea that they're always building - building to what? This generation of Chelsea supporters just expect to win some silverware. They're not into this building for the future."
