Massimiliano Allegri will be able to count on Adrien Rabiot for the derby against Inter, according to a report.
Rabiot has been a significant absence for AC Milan in the final month of the season, as the numbers demonstrate. With him in the team, the Rossoneri averaged 2.6 points per game, while without him it drops to 1.8.
The French midfielder has been sidelined in recent weeks due to a soleus muscle injury in his left calf sustained during the October international break, and has been at Milanello these past few days trying to regain his fitness.
Rabiot returns
Milan will be able to count on Rabiot for one of the most important matches of the season: the derby against Inter. The French midfielder is clinically recovered from his injury and is a candidate for a starting spot against the Nerazzurri, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport.
He will return to full training with the team starting Tuesday. The former Marseille man missed the last friendly against Virtus Entella on Friday morning to continue his recovery, during which Ardon Jashari returned to the starting line-up after three months.
It is good news for Allegri’s midfield, after the problems in the last international break. Another player who is finding his best form is Pulisic, who returned to scoring in the starting XI against Virtus Entella and will once again partner Rafael Leao up front in next Sunday’s derby.
