AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri is one of the most successful coaches in Italian history, and he has a chance to write his name in the history books again.
This weekend, Milan will focus on another chance to continue their pursuit of the Scudetto, which they have brought themselves into this season. The goal remains the Champions League, but anything is possible right now.
For Allegri, it is a case of taking one game at a time, and with his team unbeaten since the first weekend, it is paying off. After all, sitting where the Rossoneri currently do, you have to be doing something right.
Five best as Allegri nears 100
Whilst the focus will be on three points for the team this weekend, Allegri will also be hoping for his own personal achievement, with Gazzetta dello Sport writing how he can reach 100 wins with the Diavolo against Parma.
The win against Roma was No. 99, and whilst he states he is not interested in many numbers, perhaps this achievement is in his mind.
With a 52% win record, there are some games that stick out in the mind already. His first win came against Lecce, a 4-0 win with Alexandre Pato scoring a brace, whilst Thiago Silva and Pippo Inzaghi got the others.
Following that, we go to February 2013, where his Milan team beat a Barcelona team that were near their peak. A win that has remained in the memories for most, thanks to goals from Kevin Prince-Boateng and Sulley Muntari.

Going back to Lecce, the next game saw the Rossoneri 3-0 down at half time, but a hat-trick from Prince-Boateng levelled the scoring, whilst Mario Yepes got the match-winner, perhaps his strangest game in charge.
The 5-1 win against Chievo stands out in the memories, too, but one surpasses it.
Whilst Allegri may say the most important victory is ‘the next one’, but this would be false. Knowing that the Derby della Madonnina, which won the Scudetto, had been led by the coach. A brace from Pato and a goal from Antonio Cassano. Memories to last a lifetime.
