GdS: ‘Already given his approval’ – how Milan are making their move for Boniface

This summer, Victor Boniface’s name was mentioned as an option in the early stages, but AC Milan looked to other targets.

Now, though, it seems increasingly likely that he will be the next arrival of the summer, with things taking off in the past few hours. This morning, it was suggested that Milan were still considering the Nigerian.

Then, this afternoon, the Rossoneri had submitted an official offer to Bayer Leverkusen, according to multiple reports, with talks advancing and the verdict seeming like it would be the Rossoneri who won in the situation.

Milan’s idea

As Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes, the idea is that the Diavolo will sign him on loan with the option to buy, which Boniface has already given his approval to. Considering he is ‘more straightforward than others’ the attempt is not a shock.

Furthermore, the club are hoping to get things wrapped up by the end of the week, meaning ahead of the Cremonese game, Massimiliano Allegri could have a near-complete squad. Though it is unlikely that the Nigerian would be ready for that game at San Siro.

Considering how late we are in the window, Milan need a body through the door, and Boniface is a superb option generally, more so due to the timing of things.
