AC Milan are looking at three fixtures with glee, and they must thank the Curva Sud for the boosted figures.
This season, there has been a return of that good football feeling around Milan. Wins are coming back, and the Rossoneri look like a competitive team once again. So, the unrest has settled, and whilst it may still linger, it is no longer prominent.
Boosted attendances
In fact, that unrest has now shown some fantastic numbers, which sends a message to the club. As Gazzetta dello Sport write, the fans’ love has been reignited, and this explains why the Fiorentina, Pisa and Roma games are now sold out.
This season, the aim is to improve results on and off the field, and already, the club are in a strong position regarding ticket sales. The opening three games in Serie A have seen more than 210,000 fans at San Siro, and this will only continue with these sell-outs.

Against Napoli, the Curva Sud returned, and with a ‘proper’ return scheduled for this weekend, with the banners back in place, the good feeling is only increasing. The impact of their return will be felt on the pitch, too, with the players regularly thanking them for their support.
That Rossoneri feeling may be returning to San Siro, indeed.
