GdS: Balentien joins the extensive Milan injury list ahead of Pisa game

Whilst it is not a significant blow, AC Milan will not be able to bring Cheveyo Balentien off the bench for the game tonight. 

There have been several injuries for Milan to contend with in recent weeks, and it seems that there is another that Massimiliano Allegri will have to consider when naming his squad for the game against Pisa tonight.

Another absence

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Radio Rossonera), Balentien will not be available for tonight’s game. The Dutch Futuro winger is experiencing a few ‘physical problems’, so Allegri may have to call up another name to the bench.

He is not a heavily used player for the Italian, who has only called the winger onto the field for nine minutes so far this season. However, he has been on the bench for multiple games now, including a cameo against Fiorentina last week.

Christian Pulisic, Adrien Rabiot, Pervis Estupinan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Ardon Jashari will all miss out, so Balentien’s inclusion in this list is not the end of the world. However, it would still be nice to have another attacking option available on the bench.

Christopher Nkunku should return to the bench, so there will be reinforcements available to Allegri.
