GdS: Chance awaits – Allegri considering giving Tomori a break as two return

The next month for AC Milan could certainly be an interesting one, with the calendar being rather harsh. However, it could allow a few opportunities.

With five games in 18 days, Milan must ensure that players are rotated to avoid any problems. It is not essential, and different players may require more or less time on the bench. However, it cannot be avoided, unfortunately.

As a result, Massimiliano Allegri is already considering whether to give one player a break before the fixtures come thick and fast.

Tomori’s time to rest

Gazzetta dello Sport, as seen below, write that Fikayo Tomori could be given a chance to rest on Thursday. With the number of fixtures upcoming and the minutes which he has played this season, the Italian may choose to offer him a slight break to ensure that he is not overworked.

If this is the decision made, Koni De Winter will step into his place, returning to his more natural position, despite impressing in the middle of the backline recently.

The step to the side will be supported by two returns, given that Strahinja Pavlovic and Matteo Gabbia have returned to training with the group. So, they can be expected to return to their own natural positions from the start on Thursday, which will see Davide Bartesaghi return to the left-flank.
