The figures for the extension of Emirates and AC Milan’s relationship have been revealed and it looks to be a great deal.
This morning, it was announced that Milan had extended their relationship with Emirates, taking their partnership to 20 years, since 2007. However, it seems that the deal is actually longer than it first may have seemed.
Massive deal for Milan
As Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) writes, the deal is actually for another five years, so until 2030, which is fantastic, considering Emirates are a historic and financially important commercial partnership for the club.
Furthermore, the deal will have a big impact on the club financially, with it being valued at €100 million across the five years, working out at €20m per year. Again, another big tick for the club, which must be recognised.
Considering the deal also strengthens relations with Dubai and the Middle East, which are ‘key markets’ for Milan, it looks to be an even stronger deal.

It is worth noting that the work of Giorgio Furlani and Maikel Oettle has been ‘major’ to this deal going ahead. So, credit must be given to both, considering the influx of funds that will be brought from this extension.
The latter offered some words in this morning’s statement, too.
MO: “The renewal of our relationship with Emirates is a testament to one of the most historic and admired partnerships in the world of football, a shared journey that looks to the future with ambition and vision.
“Emirates will continue to accompany us, helping to strengthen the solid foundations of our Club and, together, to connect new generations of fans around the world and create unique experiences that go far beyond the pitch.”
