GdS: End of the tunnel arrives for Jashari – the plan for his gradual return

There is some positive news for Ardon Jashari, who is finally close to making his long-awaited return from injury.

The treatment room remains the most delicate area at Milanello, although the passing of the days is beginning to bring better news. The happiest news concerns Jashari, who was sidelined two months ago after suffering a compound fracture of his right fibula following a training collision with Gimenez.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Swiss will fully rejoin the squad for training on Thursday and will therefore potentially be available to be called up for the game against Roma at San Siro on Sunday night.

This is welcome news in an area of the pitch where Milan have struggled quite a bit recently, with Luka Modric and Youssouf Fofana in particular being asked to work overtime due to Adrien Rabiot and Ruben Loftus-Cheek being out too.

Jashari only made two appearances at the start of the season, against Cremonese in the league and Bari in the Coppa Italia, for a total of 40 minutes on the pitch. Obviously, it will still take some time for him to fully regain his fitness and that is why his involvement on Sunday is not certain.
