Over 72,000 fans will be in attendance for Sunday night’s game at San Siro between AC Milan and Napoli, from a lot of countries.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) report, there will be a spectacle on the pitch and in the stands too. The largest number of foreign spectators will be in attendance in 2025-26: approximately 14,000, or 40% of the available tickets.
A global draw
Milan Fashion Week has provided a significant boost. The most represented countries will be Switzerland, Germany, Poland, France, the United States and the United Kingdom. Among the former players in attendance will be Jankulovski – who was at Milanello yesterday – plus Eranio and Dida.
The future of San Siro is being debated, with the two Milanese clubs awaiting approval from the City Council to purchase the land to build a new, state-of-the-art stadium next to the current facility. The ‘old’ San Siro continues to be a place of worship.
Thanks to tomorrow’s packed house, Milan are expected to maintain a Serie A attendance average of over 72,000 per game, the best in Italy. Considering that there were 71,000 paying fans for the Bari cup game and over 54,000 for the Lecce game, the Rossoneri supporters are worthy of a Scudetto.
In the away section approximately 3,000 Napoli supporters are expected, compared to the 4,500 capacity. Why? The restrictions established for the sale of tickets mean that Napoli supporters who are not residents in Campania can purchase tickets for the away section only if they have a fan card issued by Napoli.

As mentioned, the game is intertwined with Milan’s Fashion Week, currently underway in the Lombardy capital. The Rossoneri will take this opportunity to strengthen their relationship with Off-White, a brand with which they have partnered for four years.
Mike Maignan and his teammates recently participated in a special photo shoot, where they wore their new uniform, an elegant all-black tailored suit with a white shirt, which will debut tomorrow. This is just the first chapter of the collection: more exclusive pieces will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
