AC Milan are looking to sign a striker this summer, and Rasmus Hojlund is becoming the increasingly likely option.

There have been a few names thrown around up front this summer. However, a move for Hojlund is quickly looking more possible as time goes on. Though it was important to remember that just a few days ago, the striker was not interested.

Allegri’s role

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via MilanNews, the Dane is becoming ‘increasingly intrigued’ by the possibility of a move back to Italy with Milan. On Tuesday evening, he was in contact with the management, and now he is considering the move.

A big reason for this appears to be Massimiliano Allegri; working with a coach who has a track record of winning is proving to be a big pull. In fact, the Italian could even call him in the next few days to discuss his position and the faith that the club is ready to place in him.

The door is open for him to leave Manchester United this summer, and negotiations are ongoing with the price. Ideally, the Rossoneri get their man for less than €40 million. However, United are currently at a figure closer to €50m for the whole operation.
