Ardon Jashari isn’t changing his mind and only wants AC Milan, with a further signal having arrived on Thursday.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jashari is convinced that in the end Club Brugge will make him happy. That’s why, after skipping the team presentation a week ago, he didn’t pose for the official photos with his team-mates yesterday.
He and his entourage have no intention of mending the rift and, in fact, are making it bigger and bigger day after day, because the Swiss wants to wear the Rossoneri shirt and compete in Serie A. Club Brugge await him with open arms, but Milan are in daily talks with him.
Brugge must decide whether to accept the offer of €32.5m plus €2 in bonuses, setting a new record for a sale in the Belgian league, or whether to risk a potentially explosive situation as official matches approach. The Super Cup is on Sunday, and the Champions League qualifies not long after.
Training alone
Yesterday, Jashari trained separately again, but the next step may be to not show up at the training center with his team-mates. A few days ago, he realised he wouldn’t be leaving for the tour of Asia and Australia with the Rossoneri.
This doesn’t mean he doesn’t hope to be at Milanello on August 4-5, when Luka Modric and Santiago Gimenez arrive. Milan are currently waiting for him, and negotiations with Guerra haven’t been resumed. In any case, he’s not considered an alternative to Jashari because they are different moulds.
