One of the players that AC Milan have no issue parting with this summer is Ismael Bennacer. However, they are facing problems with that.
Milan, so far, have done a good job of getting different players out of the door this summer, but there are still some that require shifting. On that list is Bennacer, who the Rossoneri are done with. So, they need to find a new club.
Marseille had no interest in paying the pre-agreed fee in his loan deal, so he returned to Milanello this summer. Now, it is a case of finding someone else who will pay that figure.
Bennacer’s refusal
Until now, it has been difficult, with the Diavolo only receiving one bid. That came from Al Ittihad, the Saudi Pro League team, and €20 million was placed on the table, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, via MilanPress. An offer more generous than the one sought through the loan deal.
Nevertheless, there have been worries about the player’s will, and today, they have been confirmed.

The club have received a ‘resounding rejection’ from the midfielder, with him not wanting to move to Saudi Arabia. In itself, this is a shock, considering the midfielder formerly had a ‘desire’ to head to the Middle East.
Bennacer is said not to be in a rush, but that same luxury cannot be afforded to Milan.
