Yesterday, Theo Hernandez stated that he had been let go by AC Milan and given a clear ultimatum. However, it has not affected those inside the club.
The sale of Theo in the summer is a heavily debated topic, and one that Milan have not let go of just yet. Davide Bartesaghi seems to be the heir to the position, but it is not really due to the success of the Frenchman’s replacement.
Pervis Estupinan was brought in to replace the defender, but he has not left many impressed, and Bartesaghi has taken advantage. Whether he would be preferred over Theo, though, is something entirely different.
Nothing to regret
Reports suggested that Massimiliano Allegri would have loved to work with the wing-back, and he could have excelled in this system. However, Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that there are ‘no regrets’ at Casa Milan about the situation.

After his comments yesterday, the staff have been left ‘untouched’, with no one changing their minds about the situation. They would still make the sale now.
Whether the same is felt by the fans is another thing entirely, and most would probably take him back in a heartbeat. The bed has been made by the Rossoneri…
